
Every day millions of licensed Americans legally carry concealed handguns in movie theaters, office buildings, shopping malls, banks, churches, etc.
Numerous studies show that concealed handgun license holders are five times less likely than non-license holders to commit violent crimes.
Campus "gun free zones" may make some people feel safer, but as recent events demonstrate, feeling safe is not the same as being safe.

Students for Concealed Carry on Campus is an organization run by college students and supported by college students. Although we welcome eveyone to join us in our cause, we need our fellow students to step up and help us fight this fight.

is your Campus Leader? Find out or apply!
These are some things you can do on your campus and in your community to help out:
1. Join our Facebook group. This will allow you to meet other students in our organization, learn about things happening on your campus and recieve student centered updates from us.
2. Become a Campus Leader. After joining our Facebook group, let us know if you would like to be our representative on your campus. You will also be listed on this website so that local students, supporters and media can contact you to find out more about what's going on at your university.
3. Write your student newspapers. We will post your columns and letters to the editors on this website so that everyone can see what's going on on campuses around our nation.
4. Write your Representatives.
5. Start a local chapter on your campus. We will begin holding nation wide events and encourage you to hold events on your campus. We will rely on local groups to help lobby State Legislatures and make sure our elected officials hear from their local students. For help on starting a group on your campus, please contact us.
6. Contact you local media outlets and tell them about your local group of supporters and our organization. We can send you sample press releases and fact sheets to help you out.

of your friends.
